Our Journey > Wānanga Confidence building
On Monday, 19th October we met together as a whānau at the new home of our mobile carving truck. Te Hui Amorangi o Te Wai Pounamu. Bishop Richard Wallace blessed our mobile carving truck in her new kainga. We had a wānanga focusing on facilitation and confidence building skills with Jon and Tūtoko and at the same time had our monthly Trust hui.
Here are some of our whainga:
We are building a network of Pounamu carvers accross the network
We are celebrating our Tino Rangatiratanga as a Trust
We have a strong desire to share this amazing kaupapa far and wide.
We have different Trust members leading different areas of development of our trust
Although we have lots to do, we have so much opportunity for our whānau moving forward.
