Wānanga

On Sunday 3rd November, we came together at Te Kura Tāwhito to learn how to make kupenga.  Whaea Tui Falwasser taught a group of us how to keep our kōhatu safe by creating this traditional way of knot tying to create a kupenga (fishing net).

This is another amazing opportunity to grow our skills and knowledge and add more matauranga into our kete.
