2021: We are holding regular monthly hui. Anyone is welcome. This is where we come together and review what is happening and make plans for the future and upcoming events.

Nau mai, Haere mai!
27/3/20: we held our first whānau hui for 2020. We shared our vision, dreams and aspirations, talked about the future of the space as well as describe our ideal kaimahi. Here are the notes from the hui...
30/06/2020 we reconnected as whānau after the first Covid-19 lockdown. It was great to be able to share our progress and reconnect with our vision. The primary focus is to ensure that we get some momentum happening at Haeata in the new timetable that is being produced for term 3.
We now have an Incorporated Charitable Trust. Here are the hui dates for the rest of the year. You are more than welcome to come along to any of the trust hui to connect to the mahi of this kaupapa.
2020 hui dates: 20 Jul, 24 Aug, 29 Sept, 19 Oct, 23 Nov and 12 Dec
Some of the things the Trust are working on include:
~ planning wānanga and haerenga to connect with and share this kaupapa with our community.
~ developing the physical carving space further (including health and safety and risk management)
~ sustainability plans. Future proofing our mahi.
~ incorporating Te Ao Māori and Tikanga into our Kaupapa.
~ developing a brand and community facing communication plan.
